Jenni Shreeves, Executive Director of the Carroll Shelby Foundation
An advocate for children with life-threatening health conditions, Jenni Shreeves is as passionate about the Carroll Shelby Foundation as Carroll Shelby was about his performance vehicles. Shreeves, a native of Knoxville, Illinois, learned first-hand the importance of educational and organ donor-based foundations when her nephew was born with a life threatening heart condition that led to open heart surgery that ultimately saved his life.
While visiting her nephew at the NICU during those critical first months after his birth, Jenni met other families facing similar situations. She became determined to be involved in the movement that is dedicated to providing financial and educational support for children and medical professionals worldwide.
Shreeves graduated from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication. In her first position as an Account Executive at the Chicago-based PR Agency, Blanco & Peace, she worked with clients such as Fox Sports Net, Twentieth Century Fox and Rainforest Café. Jenni later joined KBA Marketing as the Event Manager where she managed several nationwide “Ride-N-Drive” tours for the General Motors Corporation.
In 2000, Shreeves became the Account Supervisor at The DeYoung Group where she led national and local PR campaigns for a variety of corporate and entertainment clients. Prior to joining the Shelby Team, she served as the Account Manager at U.S. Marketing & Promotions.
Jenni became Executive Director of the Carroll Shelby Foundation in 2004. This role has allowed Jenni to realize her goal of helping children around the world with chronic and life-threatening conditions through education and medical assistance. Shreeves manages all national financial and organ donation initiatives among private and corporate sponsors as well as all corporate partner programs. She also manages all educational initiatives through the Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology Program and assists with scholarship and fundraising initiatives. Shreeves is daily charged with building greater awareness of the growing need for organ donation by providing medical assistance for those in need through educational opportunities and training programs.
