Shelby American will introduce two new concept vehicles, the 2020 Ford Shelby GT500 Dragon Snake and the Shelby Super Snake Sport F-150 at the SEMA show in Las Vegas this week.

Unveiled in the Ford Motor Company’s display at the 2020 SEMA show in Las Vegas, the Shelby GT500 Dragon Snake is a modern take on a proven Shelby philosophy. During the 1960s, Shelby American offered a drag racing version of the Shelby Cobra called the “Dragonsnake.” Given the new Ford Shelby GT500’s dual clutch transmission and stout 5.2L engine, Shelby American reimagined Ford’s new Mustang supercar for that same mission.

The Shelby team’s design for the Dragon Snake adds more power to the car (800 HP+), revises the suspension for maximum grip and straight line acceleration, lightens the car with specialty equipment and exotic materials, retunes the DCT and modifies the bodywork including unique wheels. |
| A widebody option is also being considered. In addition to the engine tune, Shelby American added high-flow catalytic converters, new lightweight glasswork and other innovations. |

During SEMA week 2020 Shelby American unveiled its concept Super Snake Sport truck at the Shelby World Headquarters. The Shelby Super Snake Sport F-150 concept was built in response to enthusiasts' requests for a scorching fast street truck. The Shelby Super Snake Sport F-150 features a Shelby specific lowered suspension, 755 horsepower supercharged V8, throbbing exhaust note, stylish wheels and new brake system. The exterior was revised for a meaner and more aero look, while the interior has the Shelby amenities expected of a super truck.

| While the current four-door Shelby trucks are extremely popular, hardcore fans requested a two-door version in the spirit of the great 1960s muscle cars. The Shelby team took that idea to trusted partners, suppliers, enthusiasts and team members to collaborate on the design and content. The Shelby Super Snake Sport F-150 is that vision come to life as a concept vehicle. |

The team’s goal was to build the unrivaled ‘king of the road’ F-150 and a “nightmare” for any other performance truck currently in production. The Shelby Super Snake Sport F-150 concept is astonishingly fast and lives up to our initial vision for the truck. |
