LAS VEGAS - March 12, 2026 - Executives with Shelby American, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International Inc. (CSBI:PK), today announced its 2026 model Shelby F-250 Super Baja, the first in a new line of redesigned high performance trucks. The all-new Shelby truck features a stunning new design, advanced performance suspension and endless custom style. It is the first Shelby vehicle to be built at Shelby Performance's new state-of-the-art facility in Bristol, Indiana.
"Shelby vehicles have always been pacesetters," said Gary Patterson, President of Shelby American. "Due to the incredible demand for a high performance three-quarter ton Shelby truck, it was the first in the 2026 lineup we tackled. Our team at Shelby American in Las Vegas worked closely with Shelby Performance on a 'clean sheet' approach. The result is another impressive, market-leading Shelby."
The Shelby F-250 Super Baja is based on the world-class Ford Super Duty truck with a 6.7-liter Power Stroke® turbo diesel and 10-speed TorqShift® automatic transmission. It was the first truck in the USA with embedded 5G Wi-Fi capability to deliver faster navigation, mapping and music downloads at higher quality.
"First introduced in 2021, the Shelby F-250 model trucks have achieved iconic status," said Vince LaViolette, Vice President of Operations and Senior Designer at Shelby American. "Carroll Shelby imbued us with the belief that we need to continually push the envelope, never resting on our accomplishments. Lessons learned through rigorous testing both on and off road resulted in a dual-purpose vehicle that can conquer jobs requiring maximum towing capacity and deliver serious driving adventure. That's why the 2026 Shelby F-250 Super Baja is a significant leap forward in performance, durability and styling."
The Shelby team carefully developed their version of the four-wheel drive vehicle with the top suppliers in the industry. Combining Ford's impressive 6.7-liter turbo diesel with a Shelby tuned advanced performance suspension system, the three-quarter ton pickup has remarkable on and off-road capabilities, advanced technology and superior handling with best-in-class towing.
The team designed a new King Shocks suspension system that increases the ride height, delivers more travel and transforms how the truck responds to the road. The Shelby F-250 Super Baja wears two-tone 20-inch alloy wheels bearing BFG 37-inch tires, with spares mounted on a steel chase rack in the bed.
The Shelby has a new functional Air Induction Hood with painted extraction vents, smooth painted OE style fender flares with marker lights, powder coated steel front and rear bumpers, tow points, custom painted grille, air flow vents and LED lighting. Features include XL power steps with rock sliders and lights, Shelby Baja Bed chase rack with new 9-pod power-actuated led light bar, bed liner, tinted windows and powder coated exhaust tips. Six exterior Shelby stripe color options and badges round out the vehicle package.
The Shelby also offers the longest list of personalization options in the truck's storied history. For instance, the ability to match the Shelby grille lettering with the stripe color is new for 2026.
"The all-new Shelby F-250 Super Baja combines a stunning new design with an expansive range of colors, stripes, and paint options to deliver a bold, customizable truck built to captivate and excite retail buyers," said Brock Patterson, Shelby Performance Director of Sales and Marketing. "This is the most customizable Shelby F-250 in history with the additional stripe color options and the ability to match the Shelby grille letters to either the body or stripes."
Shelby performance trucks are legendary for featuring comfortable, handsome interiors. The Shelby F-250 Super Baja has exclusive full leather seat covers, accents and embroidery, digital gauges, custom carbon fiber accents, embroidered floor mats and billet racing pedals. Each comes with Shelby Super Baja badges and a CSM serialized plate inside.
"Shelby just reinvented the heavy-duty truck," said LaViolette. "The three-quarter ton Shelby F-250 Super Baja can fluidly move over most any terrain, tow up to 22,000 pounds and looks really cool while doing it. These amazing vehicles are the pinnacle of the heavy duty truck market."
The amazing Shelby Super Baja super truck has an MSRP of $159,795, including a fully loaded Lariat Ultimate 4x4, F-250 SuperCrew chassis with a 6.7L Hi Output Powerstroke engine, which has an estimated MSRP of $97,000. The trucks come with a 3 year/36,000-mile warranty. The powertrain warranty from Ford Motor Company remains intact.
Manufacturing started this month with truck distribution throughout North America; the public debut will be at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Palm Beach, April 16-18, at the South Florida Fairgrounds.
Only 250 of this limited production, exclusive refined heavy-duty trucks will be offered through select Shelby Performance Ford dealers across the United States; additional will be available in North America. Production of each model will be limited to maintain performance standards and exclusivity. Each will be documented in the official Shelby Registry and the owner will become a member of Team Shelby, the official enthusiast club.
