Carroll Shelby's grandson, Aaron Shelby, will drive a 1968 Shelby GT350 convertible (Lot #3001) onto the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction block on January 26 to be sold at No Reserve on behalf of the Carroll Shelby Foundation with 100 percent of the proceeds benefitting the Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology Program. The World's Greatest Collector Car Auction® will continue its tradition of raising money for charity with the sale of the Shelby at approximately 5:30 PM MST at WestWorld of Scottsdale

 Donations by members of the international car club Team Shelby over the past four months have raised $72,830 for the Carroll Shelby Foundation.™ The funds will be used by the charity founded by icon Carroll Shelby to provide medical support for children with life-threatening disease and automotive educational opportunities for young people.

The Carroll Shelby Foundation™ (CSF) is donating $40,000, which will be equally divided among four hospitals that specialize in transplants and treating serious illnesses for children. Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital and UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, along with Children’s Medical Center Dallas and Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, will each receive $10,000. The Foundation is conducting a matching holiday gift card program that allows the public to donate to the four hospitals.

The Carroll Shelby Foundation™ (CSF) is donating $15,000 in scholarship funding to the winning high school team at the North Texas Automobile Dealers (NTXAD) Auto Tech Competition. Senior Auto Tech students representing North Texas high schools will compete for scholarships and prizes on Dec. 4, 2021, at the Indy Garage inside the legendary Texas Motor Speedway.
